Listed below are the awarding criteria for scholarships offered through the Office of Student Accessibility Services. These endowed funds were established with the Oklahoma State University Foundation by donors wishing to provide scholarships to deserving OSU students and are awarded as funds are available. We encourage students who qualify for these scholarships to complete an application. To apply for these scholarships, complete the scholarship application. Complete a separate application for each scholarship you wish to be considered for. Be sure to attach any required documentation.
Applications open November 1 and must be received no later than 5 p.m. on February 15. The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid will contact recipients. Eugene Embry Scholarship for Students with Dyslexia
Recipients must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Oklahoma State University and must have been diagnosed under the dyslexia umbrella. First selection preference shall be given to students who are enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
The Scholarship Endowment for the Physically Limited
The scholarship will be awarded to a student with a severe disability. Disability will not be limited to requirement of special equipment or mobility. First consideration may be given to individuals with quadriplegia or who are wheelchair-users. Must be enrolled at Oklahoma State University. It is not necessary to be a full-time student, but recipient must be making progress toward an undergraduate degree. A medical doctor’s statement of the disability must be included (appropriate documentation on file with SAS may be used).
Dr. Paul Eugene “Gene” Pulley, Jr. Endowed Scholarship
The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Oklahoma State University. Preference shall be given to a student with a visual impairment or other disability.
Marc A. Frieden & Fred K. Fidanque Scholarship
This scholarship is for students with a medical diagnosis resulting in mobility, dexterity, or sensory-impairment limitations. The recipient must be an incoming freshman with documented financial need. The student must have graduated from an Oklahoma high school with a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. This scholarship may be renewed for up to four years, subject to the recipient maintaining the selection criteria.
